KINGS DOMAIN RESIDENTIAL TOWER

Location: Melbourne, Australia
Product: Stone Honeycomb Panels with Travertine Veneer
Area: 3,500M2

Kings Domain is a bold yet elegant residential tower breathing fresh life into the arts precinct in Melbourne’s Southbank.
The 23 storey building, located on the corner of Dorcas and Wells Street, presents as a 360-degree sculptural form.

The most evident and striking feature of the building is the tessellating facade of stone and glass. Builder Hamilton Marino researched and developed a new, natural stone product which was integrated into the facade system – the panels arranged in an asymmetrical pattern creating the effect of a ‘shifting skin’.

KC PANELS (KCP) supply the stone honeycomb panels with travertine veneer to the Kings Domain Tower. They are later on being installed onto the unitized curtain wall with windows and glass integrated. Such system greatly saves the installation time and cost for this project.
